Anne-Marie Daniel, Mediator, Facilitator & Biomimic

Over a career as a mediator and deep experience in community conversations, Anne-Marie is inviting the creative spirit in all of us to learn from Nature’s time-tested strategies to re-design the way we live on this planet. With some extra help in the form of teamwork, talent, and tools, she believes we can design our way into a sustainable solution space if everyone brings their piece of the puzzle.

NatuR&D is the innovation arm of Leadership Development company Roy Group, focused on supporting interdisciplinary teams to transform everyday problems, from packaging to energy use, into designs that work with Nature. Her specialty is in facilitating the innovation process so that everyone can play.

ACS awarded Anne-Marie, Hayley Smith and Dr. Heather Buckley recognition in sustainability education for the design and delivery of CIVE512 Industrial Symbiosis, a core course of the University of Victoria, Masters in Industrial Ecology is taught by . It combines green chemistry, biomimicry and industrial symbiosis frameworks in an applied research project.

Anne-Marie holds a BFA in Theatre Design, a Graduate Certificate in Mediation, a Masters in Biomimicry and is a Certified Biomimicry Professional.
