Bio

He studied Chemical Engineering at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). His professional career has focused on the research and development of new products in the chemical and fats and oils antioxidants industries. He has worked with Texas A&M University on projects related to fats and oils. He is a member of the AOCS (American Oil Chemists Society) and the ACS (American Chemical Society). He is certified in Green Chemistry by the University of Washington and has given workshops and seminars on Green Chemistry and Engineering with the oil industry in Mexico and with some Universities. Currently, he works as a consultant for the soybean oil section of the United States Soybean Export Council (USSEC).
