Starting in 2025, the GCTLC will be hosting a series of Scavenger Hunt Weeks! During these weeks, there will be fun activities to complete on the GCTLC that any GCTLC user can participate in! There are also prizes to be won...
During a Scavenger Hunt Week, we will give you a hint about what the activity is that you have to complete, but you will have to "hunt" around on the GCTLC in order to complete it! Make sure you put on your "thinking cap" and keep reading below for more information!
How do I participate in Scavenger Hunt Week?
When a Scavenger Hunt Week is running, there will be a link in the GCTLC weekly email digest and a banner on the home page of the GCTLC that will send you to this page.
On this page, there will be a riddle that will tell you to do something on the GCTLC. You will have to solve the riddle first in order to understand the instructions. Each riddle will have a "helpful hint" in case you are having trouble solving it!
We can't reveal any secrets before we get started, but the riddle may tell you to:
- Find and visit a specific page on the GCTLC
- Write a post in a specific forum
- Upload an image to a specific forum
- Comment on a specific resource
- .... and more!
If you solve the riddle and complete the activity during a Scavenger Hunt Week, your name will be entered into a random draw to win a $50 cash prize! The GCTLC team will keep track of who participates, and winners will be contacted after the Scavenger Hunt Week concludes.
When will the Scavenger Hunt Weeks happen?
The exact dates of the Scavenger Hunt Weeks will be a surprise so keep an eye out on the GCTLC weekly email digest and the home page of the GCTLC! When you see the Scavenger Hunt Week images in the GCTLC weekly digest and on the home page of the GCTLC, you will know it is a Scavenger Hunt Week.
Our first Scavenger Hunt Week will start in mid-January of 2025, and we will be running approximately one Scavenger Hunt Week every five weeks or so.
