Bio
Francisco Yarur Villanueva received his B.Sc. in chemistry from Concordia University (Canada) in 2018. He completed his M.Sc. in inorganic photochemistry at the same University in 2020 where he studied nanoscale systems for solar energy conversion. He then obtained his Ph.D. at the University of Toronto where he focused on the understanding of the formation mechanism of less-toxic nanocrystals. He was also the Co-Chair of the Green Chemistry Initiative at the University of Toronto.
