Bio

Gagan Daliaho (she/her) is a Ph.D. Student in chemistry at McGill University supervised by Prof. Matthew Harrington. Her research focus is on investigating and characterizing the formation of velvet worm's adhesive and mechanically-activated slime and fibers for future bioinspired designs for novel biodegradable polymer materials. At McGill University, Gagan actively participates in several campus organizations, including the McGill Institute of Advanced Materials (MIAM) student committee, The Chemistry Outreach Group, Green Chemistry McGill student group, and McGill Scientista. Her involvement in these organizations revolves around the celebration and promotion of research in green chemistry and materials science, engaging both the scientific community and the broader public sphere.
