Bio

Jennifer Wilcox has been teaching preparatory and general chemistry for over 19 years at the community college level. Ms. Wilcox recently moved from Southern California to Hershey, Pennsylvania and presently teaches General Chemistry I and II and Harford Community College in Bel Air, Maryland. Ms. Wilcox loves to infuse green chemistry into the laboratory experience, allowing for an integrative approach with STEM topics. In her free time, Ms. Wilcox loves playing with her dogs, watching sports, and going to concerts.

Ongoing Projects

Presently, Ms. Wilcox is rewriting the General Chemistry II laboratory manual where half of the experiments are green chemistry alternatives to the original experiments.  The lab manual is incorporating the 12 Principles of Green Chemistry.

Additionally, Ms. Wilcox has substituted green chemistry experiments in General Chemistry I.
