Bio

I am presently working as a research assistant professor at the Centro Conjunto de Investigacion en Quimica Sustentable UAEM-UNAM. My present research involves sustainable chemistry that involves strategies for degradation of waste material PET to convert it into highly valued organic compounds (heterocyles, metal catalysts) for organic synthesis and their property studies I was born in India in 1985. I completed my Ph.D. under the supervision of Professor Rocío Gámez-Montaño at the University of Guanajuato in 2014, working on heterocyclic chemistry, multicomponent reactions, and isocyanide-based MCR. I worked as an NMR technician during the period of 2014–2019 at the Universidad de Guanajuato. In 2008–2010, I worked as a project assistant in the National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, India, under the supervision of Dr. Muthukrishnan M. and Dr. Thomas Daniel.
