Bio

This is my second year at Madison Academy in Madison, Alabama. I taught high school and middle school science courses at Santa Clarita Christian School in Santa Clarita, California for 13 years before moving to Alabama in July 2019. I served as Lead STEAM Educator for the Cook Science Museum in Decatur for two years before moving back to high school education. I taught biomedical strand courses at New Century High School and chemistry courses at St. John Paul II High School before coming to Madison Academy in January 2024. I currently teach middle school physical science, high school physical science, and AP/DE Biology.
My education is California grown: I have a BA in Biological Sciences from CSUN and secondary teaching credential and MAT, Science Specialist, also from CSUN. By summer 2026, I will complete graduate studies in Biology through WKU.
