Bio
He is dedicated to the promotion of Green Chemistry in Guatemala and serves as a university professor of Organic Chemistry at the University of San Carlos de Guatemala. He leads an academic community focused on Green Chemistry within the Faculty of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Jorge is a member of the Organic Chemistry and Sustainable Materials Research Unit (IQOMS). He has conducted various training sessions in the field of Green and Sustainable Chemistry, Circular Economy, and Renewable Energies. Currently, he is actively involved in the development of an elective course in Green Chemistry for students in the Chemistry program at the University.
