Ongoing Projects

  • Chemical Composition and Evaluation of In Vitro Pharmacological Activities of Selected Medicinal Plants Indigenous to Southern Nigeria
(M.Sc. Research Project, Akwa Ibom State University)
This study investigates the chemical composition and biological activities of four medicinal plants commonly used in Southern Nigeria, focusing on their antimicrobial, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties
  • Development of Improved Teaching Modules for Organic Chemistry at Polytechnic Level
    (Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic)
A pedagogical project aimed at integrating practical organic chemistry experiments with local plant-based chemical sources to enhance student engagement and applied learning outcomes.
  • Building institutional capacity for green chemistry.

Equip faculty, staff, and laboratory personnel with the knowledge and tools needed to integrate

sustainable chemistry principles into teaching, laboratory operations, and decision-making across the

    institution.
