Bio

Originally from Toronto, I earned my BSc in Chemistry and Certificate in Law from Queen’s University. Now a PhD candidate under the supervision of Dr. Philip Jessop and Dr. Michael Cunningham, I focus on green and sustainable chemistry, particularly the removal of emerging contaminants from water systems. I collaborate with both domestic and international research groups and industry partners on developing and scaling filtration materials.

Passionate about science communication and sustainability, I serves as Vice President of Q-ACS, where I have led numerous public outreach initiatives. I also have contributed as a Responsible Futures student auditor and volunteered at Science Rendezvous 2024, which inspired me to launch an outreach project with the Contaminants of Emerging Concern Research Excellence Network (CEC-REN). Now employed as one of CEC-REN’s Youth Outreach and Education Coordinator, I develop educational content and expand public engagement efforts with my colleague Prama Roy.
