I was wondering if the GCTLC platform can create multi-choice polls similar to Facebook’s “check all that apply” format. This type of poll could be helpful for quickly gathering input from educators (for example, on how they introduce green chemistry concepts in class). If this is possible, could someone share...
It would be helpful if the groups to which you belong were displayed at top of the Community > Groups page.
Currently, you either have to search for the group(s) each time or access the ones to which you belong from your profile page.
Because people have to...
Is there any way to exclude job listings from searches? Usually when I'm searching it's for some curriculum ideas or a forum topic, but there are so many job listings that it's difficult to find what I'm looking for. I'm glad there are so many jobs, but it would be...
Share your top wishlist item for the GCTLC platform and help prioritize future updates based on what matters most to users.
It would be really helpful to have the option to sort group chats/forum post replies in reverse chronological order (newest replies to oldest).
For long threads, it's aggravating to have to scroll down to the end to see the newest posts. I use a desktop browser but suspect it's...
This will likely remain a wish and might not be useful BUT I think it would be great if chemicals used in experiments could be searchable. So one use could be to quickly check if the chemicals were in ones inventory already.
and then the wish upon the wish...
Let’s shine a light on the amazing green chemistry work happening in our community! 🌱💡
What if we create a GCTLC Member Spotlight to celebrate members making waves in academia, research, and beyond? Should we post it in the forums or add it to the weekly email?
What do you...
Just a thought, but would it be useful to include #keyword prompts in forums to make them a searchable item as well?
It might be useful in the future in order to find old or relevant information in posts.
I loved the map that used to be part of University of Oregon's GEMS (greener educational materials for chemists) websites. It showed who was doing green chemistry and where they were located. I think it was searchable by industry, academia, and nonprofit/govt. It allowed for easy collaboration and provided a...
I'd love to see GCTLC implement a recommended/similar resources feature (similar to Goodreads/Amazon) so that when people access a specific item, the website recommends additional, similar resources for further exploration at the bottom of the record.
I am not sure if this is available. Is it possible to view how many times our Learning Objects have been downloaded or viewed? If not, this would be a nice feature to have.
I am so grateful to have a learning object added to the library. I would like to suggest creating a badge or certification for such items. I would love to have a Green Chemistry Certified badge or something to that effect for this learning object which is a children's book...
It may make sense to create an Industry Forum. Other audiences have their own space but this one is missing.
