Electrochemistry

Technical Project Manager

Dr. Mauro Pasta is seeking a Technical Project Manager (Energy Storage) to support a portfolio of electrochemical energy storage projects.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with researchers, industrial partners, and funding bodies, helping to deliver impactful battery research while coordinating complex projects, managing budgets, overseeing reporting requirements, and supporting collaborations across multiple programmes.

Postdoc position in CO2 electrocatalysis

The electrochemical conversion of CO2 into energy-rich carbon-based products is a promising strategy to replace fossil-derived chemicals and advance a sustainable carbon economy. Among available catalysts, copper uniquely enables the reduction of CO2 beyond CO to more reduced products; however, it suffers from limited stability, selectivity, and activity. In particular, selectively converting CO2 into methane through electrochemical processes remains a major scientific and technological challenge.

Your job

Materials Scientist/Engineer

Invinity is seeking a Materials Scientist / Materials Engineer to join our Product Development organization. Reporting to the Director of Stack Development, you will focus on developing and qualifying advanced materials for Invinity’s next-generation vanadium flow battery stacks. Your expertise in electrodes, bipolar plates, ion exchange membranes, and polymer materials will be critical to improving performance, durability, and manufacturability.

Responsibilities:

Senior Research Scientist

Invinity is seeking an experienced Senior Research Scientist to join their Technology Group, working from the company’s site in Bathgate, UK. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, with exceptional problem-solving and communication skills. You will be joining a team of talented scientists and engineers, split across sites in Bathgate and Vancouver, and will have opportunities to work directly with internal & external scientific partners, and with materials suppliers.

Summer R&D Intern

RenewCO₂ is re-inventing chemical production using CO₂ emissions with a low-cost, high energy-efficiency, and carbon-negative electrochemical process. Our eCUT technology converts CO₂ into cost-competitive raw materials for plastics. We enable companies to meet emission reduction targets while producing sustainable materials at a profit.
