The #RSCPoster conference is a free, 24-hour global online event hosted on LinkedIn. It brings together chemists from different disciplines and career stages to share research, connect with peers worldwide, and engage in scientific discussions. You can share posters on other platforms to expand the conversation, but be sure to post on LinkedIn so you are eligible for prizes!

Pfizer R&D Rotational Program

Project Director, Science, Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals

The project director, science, endocrine disrupting chemicals, leads a team of approximately three staff focused on synthesizing, communicating, and advancing scientific research on endocrine disrupting chemicals, chemical regulation, and related issues as part of a broader effort to reduce exposure to the most harmful EDCs in the near term while laying the foundation for longer term  reform to prevent additional harmful EDCs from being introduced to the economy and the environment.

The selected intern will assist the Green Chemistry Institute and Office of Sustainability by researching the fundamental principles of Green Chemistry and how they are applied in the teaching and research laboratories. The intern will assist with review of curricular materials for publishing and dissemination and facilitate the editorial process to ensure materials meet rigorous standards of accuracy and quality.

 

Position Summary

Senior Environmental Chemist

Dow has an exciting opportunity available within our Product Safety Research group that is part of our Toxicology and Environment Research & Consulting (TERC) Team. The location is in Midland, Michigan as this role is aligned to the laboratory where investigative research is conducted to ensure the sustainability of our chemistries. Specifically, we are looking for a Senior Environmental Chemist with experience and training in chemistry, environmental engineering, environmental sciences or a related field.
