Event Description

This premier conference is convened by the ACS Green Chemistry Institute to advance green chemistry and engineering through scientific exchange, professional development opportunities, and community networking. During three days of programming, the Green Chemistry & Engineering Conference (GC&E) holds around 42 technical sessions covering a wide variety of research areas and industrial applications. This year the conference explores the forefront of technology with its theme, Artificial Intelligence (AI)-Enabled Green Chemistry.

For students and postdoctoral scholars, we will hold a free, full-day workshop on June 2. Other workshops will be directed towards educators and researchers looking for deep dives into topics such as metrics and systems thinking (workshops to be announced). Funding for students and early career researchers is available throughout awards programs.

This year will feature a special symposium honoring the winner of the first annual Career Achievement in Green Chemistry award (see acs.org/sustainabilityawards).
