Bio

After 36 years as an elementary educator, I have retired from the town of Carver, MA. As an elementary educator, I worked diligently to bring my students to the realization that they are they ‘stewards of our planet’. Green Chemistry is how elementary teachers have taught science. From the outside it was called ‘kitchen chemistry’. Once the children are inspired to take care of our planet and its resources, introducing the how becomes easier.
Since the early 90’s I have held a position as Adjunct Faculty at Bridgewater State University, working as a professor teaching graduate and undergraduate students enrolled in elementary education programs. My hope is to work with future generations of elementary educators to spread the word about stewardship. It has to start with the educator in the classroom, inspiring the students in their charge.I enjoy working with future educators who have a real love of children and education in general.
