Event Description

Join us at WiFO 2023, the German Chemical Society Annual Meeting, from September 4th – September 6th in Leipzig, Germany. This largest event of the Gesellschaft Deutscher Chemiker (GDCh, German Chemical Society) and the most important chemistry congress in the German-speaking world takes place every two years.

This year’s topic: Rethinking Chemistry

Rethinking Chemistry is more important than ever to meet the most urgent challenges of our time, such as climate change, energy scarcity, and new legislation (European Green Deal). In line with the diverse tasks, Rethinking Chemistry is not a “one-fits-all solution”. Each area of chemistry can and must make its own contribution. And WiFo 2023 will show how many valuable contributions chemistry can make.
